ECHO Teen Club

Hello and Welcome to the ETC Website!

What is ETC?

ETC stands for “ECHO Teen Club” - an exciting group created for and by children and young people between the ages of 11 – 18 years with a heart condition who are treated at the Evelina Children’s Hospital / St Thomas’ Hospital in London or at local district hospitals visited by the cardiologists from the Evelina.

What is ECHO?

ECHO stands for “The Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation” which is a registered charity that offers support, advice and friendship to parents of heart-children treated by the Evelina Children’s hospital.

With the ever growing number of children with a heart condition who are reaching adolescence, ECHO recognised that there was a real need to provide support and a social structure for them as well as the support ECHO provides their parents. ETC was formed in 2008 after consulting with a group of young patients.
